About Canyon Lodge & Cabins

Canyon Lodge and Cabins, with more than 500 rooms and cabins, is a sprawling facility offering the most accommodations in Yellowstone. Centrally located on the east side of the park near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Canyon Lodge provides easy access to both the upper and lower loops of the park. Head north to the famed Lamar Valley over Dunraven Pass, south towards Yellowstone Lake, or west to Norris Geyser Basin. And let’s not forget the breathtaking Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, practically in your backyard! Just a short drive away—or, for the adventurous, accessible via trails from the cabin area—it’s a must-see. Canyon Lodge and Cabins underwent one of the largest sustainable lodging redevelopment projects in the National Parks. Five lodges, completed in 2016, are certified in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Learn more about the 2016 lodging redevelopment project in our blog. Canyon Eatery, a large public building in Canyon Village, houses restaurants and gift shops, and was redesigned and reopened in 2017. Canyon Eatery is within walking distance of cabins and lodges if you choose not to drive.
